“Steve Berry is one of my favorite adventure authors. I love the blend of historical mysteries and modern day investigation and preservation of artifacts. This is my least favorite of his works, but still very interesting. Nick Lee fell a little flat for me, probably because Cotton Malone is one of my favorite fictional characters, along with Cassiopeia Vitt.”

“Definately one of the best by Steve Berry. Unlike other Cotton Melon flicks, it is not truly "Action Packed" but is truly a perfect blend of Mystery, History, Conspiracy Theory, Deception, Espionage with subtle hint of Romance. It's absolutely must read for all Steve Berry fans.”Heather.leigh

“This was a fun read and I enjoyed it. While going through it I would find myself researching the painting separately from the book. Some of the events that took place seemed a bit predictable but it was fun nonetheless. I would recommend this to anyone who want to occupy their time with a faced paced historical-fiction novel that will make them reflect after they finish it. Now on to something else.”
