“Starts a bit slow but then ratchets up and is exciting and heartfelt in parts.
Kind of a bland cover though, tbh. Not blaming the author for that of course, but if the cover put you off, try to look past it. This is not a romantasy and the political intrigue isn't too hard to follow.”
