Publisher Description

Three women who seemingly have nothing in common find that they're involved with the same man in this smart new rom-com by Beth O'Leary, bestselling author of The Flatshare.

Siobhan is a quick-tempered life coach with way too much on her plate. Miranda is a tree surgeon used to being treated as just one of the guys on the job. Jane is a soft-spoken volunteer for the local charity shop with zero sense of self-worth.

These three women are strangers who have only one thing in common: they’ve all been stood up on the same day, the very worst day to be stood up—Valentine’s Day. And, unbeknownst to them, they’ve all been stood up by the same man.

Once they've each forgiven him for standing them up, they are all in serious danger of falling in love with a man who may have not just one or two but three women on the go....

Is there more to him than meets the eye? Where was he on Valentine’s Day? And will they each untangle the truth before they all get their hearts broken?

Loudly Crying Face“A true five star read. Heartbreaking, real, completely incredible. Short review, but that’s all this book needs.”

Loudly Crying Face“I read this book during the September readathon and now that I’ve had time to process it, I can’t wait to reread it! I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy it even more the second time around 🥰🥹”

Thinking Face“Objectively I understand how that is a well crafted story with all the intertwining aspects but I’m rating purely on enjoyment. I was really frustrated with this book but at the same time I wanted to know what happens so this is the first book in almost 2 years after having my son that I finished in a day staying up until 2 am to finish. I’m unsure about my rating still it has to be more than three because the frustration I felt while reading was deliberate but it doesn’t feel like a 5 either.”

Loudly Crying Face“I had no idea what to expect going into this book, and I truly think the main reason I enjoyed it so much was because I went in blind. My only real complaint with this book is that the middle part of it is pretty slow, but other than that this was very enjoyable! I think the strongest aspect of this book is the three main characters and their respective journeys. I particularly found Siobhan’s mental health struggles relatable. I was also shocked by how strong of an emotional reaction I had to this book. I was literally crying at work, haha. But I won’t say anything beyond that. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves the romance genre but is open to a surprising take on it. I would recommend going into this with very few expectations! Also, I read this with the bookish swifties book club, and Marta used “All Too Well (10 Min Version)” as the Taylor swift song to describe this book and I couldn’t think of anything more perfect!”
