“Was drawn in by the premise, but the execution mostly fell flat. A lot of pages are dedicated to Ready-Player-One-esque descriptions of what companies/world events/sports results are different in the new world Steven finds himself in. Felt like it was conceptualized for a visual medium, so the narration tends towards rambling and repetition. I didn't feel that it accomplished most of its goals by the end, but it was still entertaining and a quick read.”

About Jason Starr
Jason Starr is the internationally bestselling author of many crime thrillers, including Tough Luck, Twisted City, and The Follower, and his books have been published in over a dozen languages.
