“Do you know that feeling when you first taste something addicting? You didn’t know it would feel that way, so you take one bite, then another, and another. Maybe you stop to savor it for a moment, but then you keep going—until you realize it’s gone. You didn’t even know you were addicted until you took that last bite (and you also didn’t realize it was the last one).
That was exactly how I felt reading this book.
I was skeptical at first. The beginning was subtle, and things didn’t start unfolding until Kvothe began telling his story. I wanted to believe this was a story of redemption, of regaining what was lost through a magnificent exchange. But it wasn’t, was it? His was a story of devastation—of looking up at every corner, seeing a tiny pinprick of light, only for it to flicker out seconds later. And I think that’s why I got addicted to it.
We all want the hero to be rewarded for the gruesome things they endure. We keep waiting for that moment, for justice to finally tip in their favor. But just when Kvothe is inches from it—it gets taken away again.
That is how powerful Rothfuss’s writing is. You just can’t get enough.”jacockbo

“No entiendo como esta saga no es igual de famosa que GoT. Kvothe es tal vez el protagonista mas interesante que he leído. Un mundo fantastico lleno de aventuras que (aunque mas sencillo) no le pide nada al señor de los anillos.
