By Agatha Christie & Mint Editions
The Mysterious Mr. Quin by Agatha Christie & Mint Editions digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

The Mysterious Mr. Quin (1930) is a collection short stories by legendary British writer Agatha Christie. In this strange series of mysteries, the elderly socialite Mr. Satterthwaite finds himself in the midst of disappearances, deceit, and even murder.

Just as every mystery presented reaches a point of inscrutability, the enigmatic Mr. Quin appears seemingly out of nowhere to offer crucial advice that always breaks the case. When the dust settles, Mr. Quin disappears as mysteriously as he came, not to appear again until Mr. Satterthwaite stumbles predictably into another enigma. In the 12 stories included, Christie finds an outlet for her more imaginative and fanciful side, escaping briefly from the cold logic of Detective Poirot and the civil drama of Miss Marple to dabble in the absurd and often magical genius of Mr. Quin.

Since our inception in 2020, Mint Editions has kept sustainability and innovation at the forefront of our mission. Each and every Mint Edition title gets a fresh, professionally typeset manuscript and a dazzling new cover, all while maintaining the integrity of the original book.

About Agatha Christie

Agatha Christie (1890-1976) was an English author of mystery fiction whose status in the genre is unparalleled. A prolific and dedicated creator, she wrote short stories, plays and poems, but her fame is due primarily to her mystery novels, especially those featuring two of the most celebrated sleuths in crime fiction, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Ms. Christie’s novels have sold in excess of two billion copies, making her the best-selling author of fiction in the world, with total sales comparable only to those of William Shakespeare or the Bible. Despite the fact that she never enjoyed going to the cinema, almost 40 films have been produced based on her work.
