“I enjoyed this action-packed, mystery thriller. I think its meant to be a tv series and one of the best Patterson books I've read. I didn't know this was the second in a series. I didn't feel I was missing the back story. Bill runs an inn it seems for people who have nowhere else to go. many of the residents are quicky yet loveable.”

“This book was fabulous! From the twists of each character and how things ended up, I was never bored that’s for sure. Everything that happened to Nick with the war and his schizophrenia afterwards tugged at my heartstrings. I thought April and Joe were going to have a bigger part within the story, and I didn’t particularly see why they were there to be honest, but that definitely doesn’t mean I didn’t like those parts because I did. Shauna’s character threw me off, I didn’t expect her to go off the rails like that and start killing people and becoming a fugitive. It was a wild ride and sometimes a little hard to follow, but overall a wonderful book!”
