A contemporary of Remington and Rackham, Warwick Goble produced lovely watercolor paintings that perfectly illustrated fairy tale subjects. Specializing in Japanese and Indian themes, he became famous for illustrating both magazines and books, including H. G. Wells' The War of the Worlds.
