Will Shindler’s The Bone Queen is a harrowing horror-thriller debut where a mother must navigate a secretive small town and battle a mysterious evil entity to find her missing teenage daughter.

Jennifer K. Breedlove’s Murder Will Out is a heart-warming gothic mystery set in an island off the coast of Maine following a woman determined to investigate the mysterious secrets behind her godmother’s death.

How to Get Away with Murder by Rebecca Philipson follows a Scotland Yard detective in her race to find the identity of the author of a self-help book that seems to have inspired London’s newest murderer.

Lori Rader-Day’s Wreck Your Heart is a big-hearted crime novel where a midwestern country singer is out to catch her big break before family–or murder–wrecks everything.

The Survivor by Andrew Reid is a suspense-packed thriller about one fateful evening where an anonymous killer, a young man trapped by his past, and an NYPD detective converge on a hijacked New York subway train.

Killing Me Softly by Sandie Jones is a twisty new thriller where two tragedy-stricken lovers find themselves in a devastating cat-and-mouse game of deception and blame.

The Minotaur Sampler, Volume 18 Reviews

3.5
“I personally really enjoy these sampler books. I found this one to be one of my favorites, all of the books were added to my TBR as I will be looking to finished them. I personally really enjoyed The Survivor by Andrew Reid. Thanks to NetGalley for this E-Arc.”
“About half of these were good enough to make me interested to start reading them. This sampler provides the reader with 3 chapters of each book and the entire point is to make you decide if you'd want to read them or not. The Bone Queen had potential for an atmospheric and spooky folk horror type, but didn't necessarily fit with the rest of the titles picked for this sampler for me. Although I did enjoy what was on offer and display, I'd pass on the titles chosen with the exception of the aforementioned and Killing Me Softly. Thanks so much to St. Martin's Press for the chance to read and review this sampler eARC! All opinions are my own.”
