“Hannah, a Jewish midwife chooses to disobey the law forbidding her to attend Christian births. She does it all for her husband's sake.
I felt this book was quite fast paced for a historical fiction. I never knew what birthing spoons were before this and that was satisfying to research a bit after hearing about them. 😊
Its the ending that got me for this one because I'm a sap and want the best even though history typically doesnt have many happy endings.”
