“I don't know whether it's the narrator's performance or the book itself but it was so over the top like watching a particulary OTT telenovela. I finished reading only because it was ridiculously laughable (the narrator's russian accent was so bad and not sexy at all and emulating the grunts/moan was just sooooo bad) and I kinda liked the FMC's sassiness at least at th beginning. I still don't know whether the book was meant to be funny or be serious. I really hope it's the former.
But after lots of lots of sex that was not really sexy but so funny, it became really boring with all the side characters/predictable third act breakup I just read it in 2x speed.”
