“The first 70 pages or so had me so relieved that I'd finally found a well written book that hit the spot. The banter and chemistry was off the absolute charts, with genuine intrigue in the plot and back stories. (The constant 'teehee, aren't escorts so shady?' was a bit much for me)
"Well, what about the rest of the book?" you might be asking. We don't talk about the rest of the book. Turned into a smut fest that was repetitive and lacked emotional tension. The plot points were shoved in where ever they could go and hastily wrapped up in the blink of an eye. My advice? Read up until you hit the kidnapping arc. Whatever you think the book is building up to, it's not. Kresley Cole, you didn't even try.”
