The Master
ByPublisher Description
The Gameshouse is an unusual institution.
Many know it as the place where fortunes can be made and lost though games of chess, backgammon -- every game under the sun.
But a select few, who are picked to compete in the higher league, know that some games are played for higher stakes -- those of politics and empires, of economics and kings . . .
And now, the ultimate player is about to step forward.

“*3.5*
Silver finally has his chance to do what has been mentioned in the previous books, . I thought this would be super enthralling, but I was left a bit disappointed. I felt through the story as if though I was deteriorating. That the outcomes were weighing on my soul and giving me despair, as the MC felt and it was not getting better anytime soon. It was constant death and moves, and more death. When we reach the finale of the game, it really all just feels like luck. And the ending with the Gamesmaster face-off and we are given an open ending. Not my thing, especially with the ending being such a big decision and either choice being a lose-lose.”
