“Joe Bravo and Macy Storm grew up together and have always been the best of friends, always there for each other. Joe was there for Macy when her husband cheated on her and left her for another woman and as the Godfather of her daughter Ana. Macy was there for him when two women broke his heart and during his heartbreaking foster experience. Joe wants a family with his whole heart and believes that his best friend is the only way to get that. He loves her daughter and knows in his heart that he and Macy can have the little ones that he has always wanted on his own. Macy is not convinced that marriage is the best plan but finally decides to do it. Enter a blast from Joe’s past that they navigate together and the drama of Ana’s biological father putting up roadblocks along the way. Macy and Joe decide to work on a family that they create together and Macy realizes that she has always loved Joe Bravo but telling him would go against the agreement that they made when they decided to marry. Love does not play a part in this plan. We all know how the best laid plans go, they don’t or they get detours and these two people take us on one heck of a detour.
This story is the newest addition to the Bravo family and is a sweet story that will make you laugh and cry. You may want to shake some sense into Joe Bravo every so often but that means the story has believable characters with a great story to tell. I could not wait to get my hands on this book but I am like that with every Bravo Family book. Do not delay, get this book and snuggle up with a cozy blanket, a cup of something warm, and prepare to fall in love with Joe and Macy and sweet little Ana.”
