“One of my favorite moments of this novel is near the beginning when Dr. Maracot waves away concerns about being crushed by the pressures of the deep ocean. There wouldn’t be a novel if he was worried about things like physics.
He and his two companions drop into the depths of their bathysphere and find Atlantis.
It’s a fun little adventure that veers into Lovecraftian horror near the end.”

“Not Conan Doyle's best, to be sure. It's a boy's own adventure story which feels like a paste-up of several short stories since it jumps around for no discernable purpose.
Also, it's published by Open Road Media. I have no idea who's behind this company, but it seems they're putting out a bunch of public domain works, scanning a text and then slapping a new cover on it. There's no proofreading which is apparent by the really obvious typos and missing words within the text.”
About Arthur Conan Doyle
Arthur Conan Doyle (1859–1930) practiced medicine in the resort town of Southsea, England, and wrote stories while waiting for his patients to arrive. In 1886, he created two of the greatest fictional characters of all time: the detective Sherlock Holmes and his partner, Dr. Watson. Over the course of four novels and fifty-six short stories, Conan Doyle set a standard for crime fiction that has yet to be surpassed.
