“I might have had way too high expectations of this book, as it is the one that put Gounelle on the pedestal. I did enjoy it, it had a lot of good messages that resonated with me. But I also lacked more of a story. Reading this after I had already read "Le philosophe qui n'était pas sage" all the points and thoughts felt a bit more forced and not really explored through the eyes of the main character. Also, some of the book's ideas just didn't sit right with me, but that's definitely just a personal preference. Altogether, I would give it a 3,5/5.”
