The Lost Sisters
ByPublisher Description
Sometimes the difference between a love story and a horror story is where the ending comes...
While Jude fought for power in the Court of Elfhame against the cruel Prince Cardan, her sister Taryn began to fall in love with the trickster, Locke.
Half-apology and half-explanation, it turns out that Taryn has some secrets of her own to reveal.
The Lost Sisters is a companion e-novella to the New York Times bestselling novel The Cruel Prince, by master writer Holly Black.

“I think if I had read this after The Cruel Prince and before The Wicked King, it would have made me hate Taryn even more. I ended up reading it after The Queen of Nothing, so Taryn’s redemtption arc in QoN made this more palatable. Taryn and Jude were two sides of the same coin, and their lack of communication was really what drove them apart. Getting Taryn’s point of view was nice but it wasn’t the best apology for how awful she was to Jude in the first two books.”
