“The Lost Queen is a sweeping story spanning multiple decades set in sixth century Scotland that has such an amazing and atmospheric setting. This feels like a magical historical fiction with some touches of folklore and I loved it so much.
We had a bit of a slower start in Part 1 and then things really started to take off after that. There are really intriguing politics and complex relationships in this character driven story and I cannot wait to read the next book in the trilogy. This book took me by surprise and was so much better than I was anticipating. I highly recommend reading this immersively for the vibes, I think the narrator helps set the scene and bring some atmosphere to mske this book come to life even more.”
