“In my opinion, this book was definitely more enjoyable than The Kiss, with more overall action going on as well as more familial moments between Whit and Wisty. There is still the government presence as well as a new BBEG with some interesting aides to help take care of the witch and wizard population. After the events of the last book as well as what occurred early on in this book, I wasn’t sure what to expect for the ending, but it was all wrapped up nicely with pretty much everyone getting a HEA. So glad I finally read these books after so many years, and would definitely recommend them for kids around the middle/high school range.”
