“I won this book from a Goodreads First Reads giveaway, so thank you to the author!!
I liked reading this novel. About halfway through, I saw on Goodreads that it was #5 in the series so I got confused that I started too late or something but I followed along just fine, and then I did some research and it's not that type of series. I thought it was a nice, heartwarming romance. The characters were believable and well developed. I did not rate it higher because I wish that the two main characters (Mei and Jack) got together earlier and there was some more resolution about their families and how their lives worked together when they actually were an "item" officially. Overall, I enjoyed it and I would probably pick up another romance novel by this author in the future.”
