Beth Carter is a Speech Language Pathologist with 25 years of experience in both the clinical and educational setting. She also is an instructor at the community college level and teaches Children's Literature and Language and Literacy Experiences. She regularly utilizes children's literature during therapy sessions to improve expressive and receptive language development. Beth lives in Statesville N.C, and has 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. She fell in love with seashells as a child when her family lived at the beach for a summer and this story is a product of her love for children and shells.
Sara Fox graduated with a BS in art education. She has taught elementary art for 14 years in the North Carolina public schools. Pottery is her preferred medium. This is her first opportunity illustrating a children’s book.
