“A delightful little book filled with quotes and anecdotes from New Yorkers born and bred, to wannabes and never-gonerbes. Some words will make you laugh (who knew so many comedians came from NY), some will make you cry (tales of devastation and loss after 9/11 were truly heart-breaking). I bought the book when I was in New York City and the crisp pages of this book make me yearn for its gleaming skyscrapers and chaotic sidewalks again.”
