About Hans Christian Andersen
Hans Christian Andersen (1805–1875) was born in Odense, Denmark. After moving to Copenhagen at the age of fourteen, he became an author. Andersen wrote many fairy tales that have been adapted into movies, plays, and ballets all around the world.
