“I am a big fan of Fiona Davis. I loved the mystery and the intrigue in the book. I love how her books always connect the present to the past. I love that it is centered in such an iconic library. The characters were not my favourite. I can understand a woman feeling stifled in the early 1900s without rights. However, I can't love a book that someone has an affair. I didn't love the characters truly from either Era. However, the book kept me gripped because the mystery was satisfying and intriguing. And I loved learning about the library. So that is why it's just above 3 🌟.”Paige Courbat
