“Even though it was quite predictable, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.”
“I wish this was longer and more developed because there was a really cool story here but everything felt so rushed and shallow. I wanted to know more about the characters, how they felt about everything. The story also fell into place very easily, there were few trials and tribulations for Amrita on her journey and all were overcome rather quickly. There was so feeling of peril or worrying about the characters.
I’m also not sure how I feel about the conclusion - it feels very much like Sikander got rewarded for being a monster and that a woman was responsible for stopping him from being a monster. It just felt kinda icky.
I’m also sad that the library didn’t feature more in the book. A library full of fates sounds really cool, but it just didn’t appear until the very end.”
“This was a world wind of emotions. This book takes you on a wonderful journey. If your looking for a book to make you happy this is a great book. There were bits that made me throw the book down in frustration and there were parts that made me grin so all in all great book.”

Aditi Khorana spent parts of her childhood in India, Denmark, and New England. She has a BA in international relations from Brown University and an MA in global media and communications from the Annenberg School for Communication. She has worked as a journalist at ABC News, CNN, and PBS, and most recently as a marketing executive consulting for various Hollywood studios including Fox, Paramount, and Sony.
