About Jessie L. Weston
Jessie Laidlay Weston (1850–1928) was a scholar and folklorist whose work focused primarily on Arthurian legends, as well as medieval translations. Her best-known book is From Ritual to Romance, a landmark of anthropological and mythological scholarship exploring the origins of the Grail legend. It was awarded the Crawshay Prize upon publication in 1920.
