“I was pleasantly surprised by this one! I thought the story was pretty original and well written. Just the right amount of humor and action with fun characters.
Since it deals with dwarves, the girls who can grow mustaches are considered beautiful. I thought it was funny and didn’t feel like an agenda move. Because there is bad blood between elves and dwarves, there are some “racial slurs,” and bullying. There is one swear word. Other than that, a great read and I’m looking forward to the next one!

“19% DNF, this book had potential, the fantastical random things that were happening to the main character were the best part, the rest of it just kind of dragged along and wasn't super interesting and did not capture my attention enough to want to continue on with the book or series.”
