The Last Song
ByPublisher Description
From the bestselling author of The Notebook comes a moving tale of redemption and first love when a rebellious teenager decides to spend the summer with her estranged father.
“Raw emotion, young love, family angst, and—ultimately—sweet resolution.” ―BookPage
Seventeen-year-old Veronica "Ronnie" Miller's life was turned upside down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father ... until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him.
Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church.
What unfolds is an unforgettable story of love—first love, love between parents and children—that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that love can break our hearts ... and heal them.

“What another beautiful book written by Nicholas Sparks. I loved everything about this book. There were things in this book I felt should of been in the movie. Such a beautiful love story but also kinda sad at the same time due to the relationship between main character and her father and how he ended up passing away just as they healed their relationship 💔 😢”
“Pretty solid read! I enjoyed it! It was predictable but still worked as a book. Decent amount of romantic content. More than the reviews told me but NOTHING explicit. I loved Will and Jonah sm! The dad was so sweet. Ronnie was slightly insufferable but not awful. Just basic but that’s alright and expected. I’m so excited to watch the movie(it’s one of my mamas favorites)
Ohhhhhh what to read next….”
