“I expected a different vibe from this book, but I found myself really enjoying Dukess’ writing. Her writing had a way of drawing me completely in and strangely I couldn’t put it down despite not enjoying how the plot developed in the second half. I loved the first half of the book and really thought this would be a 5 star read for me, but the second half of the book really went downhill. The sleeping with her first romantic interest’s father really grossed me out. I enjoyed the premise, but the dynamics between the characters was problematic at best. The only relationship I enjoyed is between Eve and her brother.
However her writing was good enough that I might check out other books of her.”
