“Read this book at my local library book club. It's different to what I normally read but it's genre is kinda misleading. It's just a touch of mystery really but it's more about the bleak town. There's some memorable characters but misanthrope Bill likes to go on a bit of a ramble that leads to a wall of text. There's definitely catering to the male gaze as the female characters are there for eye candy except for one. I was on the fence. I don't know how to feel about this book. It did give me Screams Gale Weathers and James McAvoy Filth.”
