“Recommended for: people who love comfort fictional stories told about other remote cultures
Summary: This book is number 22 in the No. 1 Lady’s Detective Agency series. It follows the daily lives of Mma Ramotswe and her husband Mr. J. L. B. Matekoni. Who runs the detective agency and a car repair shop, consecutively. They live in Botswana, Africa.
Review: These books are very slow moving with very flowery and descriptive writing. However, I find them comforting and different from the regular mystery stories told in other books. There is also an element of light laughter in quirky little side characters, such as Mma Makutsi and her talking shoes!”
