“Eve is a morning TV presenter, she is closed off from relationships due to being focused on her career. However an old flame or an old crush comes back into her life in the form of Italian banker Luca he sweeps her back off her feet and they end up pregnant.
Luca tries to convince her to marry him for the sake of their baby and for the sake her of career but Eve doesn't trust he won't become bored with her and their baby. Eventually he convinces her their marriage is the best idea and will help protect her and her baby for when she eventually loses her career.
This was a nice read. I liked Luca for the most part, and I liked Eve. I can't give it a 4 star because it wasn't that good but I did like the romance.”
