“I have wanted to really enjoy these books after Meghan's story was done so well.
I know am fully aware that this is a YA novel, but why is it that Ethan cannot simply grasp the idea that not *every single human and fey* is going to go after him?
Could he not understand by now, after the events in the first book, that all he simply needed to say was "Hi, I'm Ethan Chase, the Iron Prince" just to get everyone else to fuck off?
No? Just me?
Or the idea of the cliche clique of "jerky football player bullying the loner kid" or "she's too good for me, I can't be with her"?
I am so sadded by the lack of growth that Ethan has in his own series (and maybe someone can convince me to keep reading them) but I cannot fathom the complete lack of awareness and the aggressive behavior he has to not only to the fey but to inanimate objects.”

“Reread- still love this series. I think I may be in a reading slump and I’m kind of just pushing through it. But the twists were great, love to see certain relationships build and I love to see characters getting pushed to break their priority morals.
Honestly, this special edition cover is my favorite. The green and the orange accent each other so perfectly and the lilies are so adorable I want to wear this book cover.”
