“I just could NOT get into this book but I refused to quit on it. I love Midsummer Night's Dream and I've liked some of her other books so I really wanted to give it a fair chance. And honestly, I think other people may really like it.
It wasn't until the very last chapter that I realized why I wasn't getting into it. I just couldn't relate to the main character. It's written in 1st person from the view of Robin Goodfellow, aka Puck, from Midsummer Night's Dream. I think there are people out there that will absolutely LOVE this book. It just wasn't for me.
That being said, the ending was epic and I definitely liked the way she ended this first book of the trilogy. It has a powerful message that resonates well. ❤️
I've got another book from a different author on the way so I won't be reading the second book of this series right away. But if I'm still thinking about it a month from now I will! 🙂”

“What can I say? I am absolutely loving this series. It has everything, good versus evil, love, hate and danger. Yet again, we have an evil being wanting to destroy the nevernever, by corrupting it from below, causing uncontrollable rage and hatred. This is a story from Puck’s perspective, and how he had to fight not only the evil from outside but part of his inner self that he had thought dead and buried, but was brought to the surface by this malignant villain, I can’t wait to see what happens in the next one!”
