“4.75/5, purely because I wish this was longer!
This is absolutely essential reading for anyone who has read and enjoyed The Wolf’s Hour, although I think the stories work as standalone too.
The writing here is excellent and super engaging. As usual Mr McCammon’s character writing is elite tier, a I found myself caring for characters in stories barely 50 pages long.
The 2 mini novellas are stand outs in this collection, particularly The Wolf and The Eagle, however the other stories are also brilliant!”
About Robert McCammon
Robert McCammon (b. 1952) is one of the country’s most accomplished authors of modern horror and historical fiction, and a founder of the Horror Writers Association. Raised by his grandparents in Birmingham, Alabama, Bram Stoker and World Fantasy Award–winning McCammon published his first novel, the Revelations-inspired
