“I watched the movie before reading this and was honestly a little worried that I wouldn’t like the book as much but I think it’s safe to say I was pleasantly surprised. This book gave me so much more emotion, perspective, and details than the movie. I honestly had to take breaks between reading the scene were Cato was being attacked by the dogs and finding out those dogs were the dead tributes. My heart felt so heavy and I could feel the pain that Katniss experienced. You know a book is good when the Author manages to put you in the characters shoes, and let’s not forget Rue’s death. OH MY GOSH when I tell you I cried, I CRIED. I knew it was coming and it still hit hard. With all that said HIGHLY recommend and cannot wait to read the others 💗”“PEEEEEEEEEEETA!!!!
Wow, I loved it!!! The first HG book I read was Sunrise of the Reaping and I looooooved it.
I watch the movies all the time and since I read Sunrise, might as well read all of them.
It was soooooo good. The movies are close to it but I loved the extra parts not included in the movies.
I really enjoyed the book.
