“So fun! I love Marissa Meyer’s writing! The way she writes a fantasy is so good and so fast-paced. A very character driven story and the plot is interesting and suspenseful. Mallory and Armand are just too cute and I thought they were so fun together. Overall, I thought this was so good and I loved the fantasy and mystery elements of it.”
“I was sooooo bored. And quite frankly, I was also really disappointed. I read Heartless by Marissa Meyer a couple years ago and absolutely adored the writing. Everything about it drew me in. This book did the complete opposite. Also, I think the concept is interesting which is the whole reason I bought the book in the first place, but the execution was poor.”
“I liked this book. It wasn’t great but as it got towards the end it became far more action-packed than through out the beginning/middle of the book. I did predict what was going to happen but I was still surprised by some things. Also my rating would probably be more of a 3.8-3.9 ⭐️”
