Slightly Smiling Face“Feel good read that had been on my TBR for a while! Glad I finally read it 😊. Full disclosure: I’m 1000% a mood reader so I might just not have been in the right zone for a middle grade book right now. Lovable characters and sends a great message it was just a tad on the nose for me.”

Rolling on the Floor Laughing Face“I absolutely loved every character in this book ! I was fascinated by all the children and how different and magical they were. My favorite character transformation was Linus. He lived such a monotonous life in the beginning and as he connected with each child and Arthur you could really feel his soul coming to life. I would love if they could make this a movie so i could see the film makers take on how all the characters looked.”

Slightly Smiling Face“The way TJ Klune transforms difficult conversations into heartwarming fantasy is absolutely genius. And it makes me happy to know that stories like this one exist. Not just to show but to reflect on acceptance, kindness and love. To understand that diversity is something to be cherished and not feared. And that open-heartedness paves the road to a better world. I loved the personalities of the children and the kindness and understanding of Arthur. But what truly made this book for me was Linus and his ultimate transformation. Shattered in the beginning, he is being put together piece by piece in ways that resonated with my soul. Please do something comforting for your mental health and plunge into this ode to life itself.”

Slightly Smiling Face“I’m so glad I finally read this book. I listened to an audiobook and the narrator did such a good job giving every character a different voice. The pacing wasn’t my favorite, but overall an enjoyable book that made my heart melt over and over.”
