Q: Why can’t I buy this ebook on Fable?

We’re constantly working to expand our catalog, but unfortunately we haven’t yet added this title. While we continue to work with publishers to offer more books for sale, we didn’t want our clubs to have to wait. For popular books that aren’t yet available, we’ve added light versions that can be used to discuss in clubs, to add to lists, and to leave reviews, but are not available to buy or read on Fable. If you need to buy a copy, we recommend visiting your local bookstore or library!

Q: Can I start a book club with this book on Fable?

The first step is to download the Fable app. From there, you’ll be able to create your own private or public book club and invite others to read with you. Once your club is created, click on the plus sign under “Currently reading” and search for this book to add it to your club.

“This was just a 'meh' for me. I LOVED the idea for the book, but with that said... describing every article of clothing in every scene AND the reasons for selecting each article of clothing in every scene nearly made this a DNF for me. I pushed through because the world did feel magical and for the simple fact that I am a fool for plots involving amnesia. The story behind the two MCs is enjoyable when it finally is revealed, but this book was incredibly slow. It honestly felt like nothing happened until the end, although I did enjoy the end. I'm not sure I'll read the second any time soon, but I did already purchase it before reading this one, so maybe someday 🤷‍♀️”

“What would you do if you woke up in a dark hole, couldn’t remember anything? Seek revenge on the family who put you there? But what if someone already did? Then what? Well, naturally, you team up with a private investigator, Ashbourne Claymore, to find the truth. Except the PI also has some memory loss, but that certainly not related…right? Make sure you don’t forget to add this fantasy to your TBR. Alison does an amazing job of piecing together the steam-punk themed world, while giving the reader just enough details to piece together their lost story. I really enjoyed this book & I hope you do too!”
