“A historical fiction/romance that is fast paced.
Camron of clan Graham has been in love with Anna since he was young, but as she's five years his senior, so he never declared his feelings. Whilst drunk with his brother he made a bet to find a bride by the years end. The story tells of how he trys to win Anna's heart and prove to her she is more than just a bet.”
“A gorgeous book for lovers of purely romantic stories, with no action whatsoever, just two people who have to find the way to each other. It's basically a childhood friends to lovers with a little age gap (she’s older!) and the hero has been in love with her since forever.
While he was still too young to declare his love, she fell in love with another and was betrayed, so she's justifiably wary... The hero is so sweet and patient, but also hot and passionate. The writing is beautiful as ever (I love Locke's books!), maybe a little too verbose. They think and spar a lot when I would have liked more "action", especially in the bedchamber.
Can't wait for the other brother's story!
