The Hero's Sweetheart Reviews

“This was once again a wonderful story! This definitely followed the grumpy & grumpy trope ... turns enemies to lovers. Jack and Olivia are very much at odds the majority of the story. But then moments like her being sick, Sully his father being sick and trying to save the Diner forced them to be together more and eventually see all they have in common. Jack is home temporarily while his father has a health scare and to help keep the diner afloat. And he runs into a waitress Olivia that is VERY close to his Dad and at odds with all the changes he's trying to make around the diner. But no matter how much they insist they don't like each other, time together slowly pushes away at their walls. I only gave this one a 4 because there was a moment in the story where they had a sort of turning point in their relationship and the author sort of fast forwarded it. One second they have this big moment, and the next you hear about other smaller moments that you missed. Like you heard about it in the past tense, instead of going on alongside the growing relationship. For that reason alone I removed a star, since the Romance is the main point. All in all, this 4 books series was almost all 5 stars, which to me means I LOVED it! I would definitely recommend it, and read it all over again!”
