“Ms.Angie… this book was so beautiful. I don’t know what took me so long to read it, but I’m glad I got the chance to. I can’t even explain how the representation spoke to me! The icee cups?! I loved this book. It did take me a while to get into, but I’ve been in a huge reading slump. This shook me out of it! Read 300 pages in less than 2 days when I finally left the depths of despair (my reading slump). I recommend this book to anyone, no matter your skin tone or ethnicity. It’s a true eye opener.
