“Absolutely incredible. I loved the contrast between stern, hard working Josette and naive, clueless Bernard. The character development of the two was subtle and natural. I loved the realism the author lent to the airship engineering and military tactics. It was so thoroughly thought out, I would believe it if airships had actually been used in war. I also found myself laughing out loud to the dry humour and sassy remarks of the aircrew. One of the best prices of Steampunk/Flintlock fantasy written.”
