“This was such an atmospheric read that had me wanting to go hiking every time I picked it up. While the first few chapters were a bit slower to get into, I ended up quickly getting hooked into the story. The character growth between both Sadie & Thorne was so well written. Both characters struggled to let things go but eventually helped each other see that they can still remain true to themselves while also growing and experiencing new things that push them out of their comfort zones.
Definitely has me excited for summer and ready to go on some hikes myself!!

5 stars is a feeling and this book is that! I was in such a slump and just wanted a book to take me out of it. I read this book in 2 sittings (only because I had to go to bed) and woke up an hour early before work to finish it!
The FMC was someone who knew what she liked and how she liked it. She had been told by her ex boyfriend that she was “too much” and broke up with her. She decided to do this camping/hiking trip to prove him wrong. Throughout the book we see her become such a stronger person and become more confident in herself and her personality.
I love the MMC! He took on everything about the FMC and never talked down to her, never complained about her being “high maintenance”, and always had something constructive to say to her.
These two characters added to each other in such a beautiful way!
I also loved the drama in the story, even if it was a little frustrating in the middle for a minute there.
This book sucked me in and now I can’t wait to read more from this author!”
