The Good Girl's Fake Date
ByPublisher Description
How far will a good girl go to keep the detective she loves when her web of lies starts unraveling?
Inside every good girl is a bad girl trying to get out…
For thirty years Olivia Jacobsen has been the perfect preacher's daughter—until gorgeous detective Garrett Krause walks into the newspaper office needing to place a personal ad for just one date. She propositions this calendar-worthy officer on the spot, determined to finally lose her good girl inhibitions to someone who won't expect forever.
Garrett values honesty above all else, and Olivia's web of half-truths threatens to destroy everything. She hides her identity as an heiress, while he conceals his role as a devoted single father still healing from his ex-wife's betrayals. When their one night ignites into something deeper, Olivia faces an impossible choice: should she protect her heart or risk everything for the kind of love that will last forever?
Review: A fun contemporary Jacobson romance starring two likable protagonists. The story line focuses on Olivia trying to throw off the "shackles" of her family so that she can enjoy life just a bit. Garrett is attracted to the good girl as much as the bad girl. Readers will enjoy Michele Dunaway's latest Jacobson romantic caper due to the feisty heroine.
