“I really did not enjoy this book. It dragged on forever. I was so lost the whole time. I usually don't like most books that have the same vibe as this one. I thought about DNFing it but then decided I needed to read every last bit of it. There were a few very good quotes, though, and when Bran died I was shocked. But even with all that, it took me weeks to finish.”
“The idea behind this book is rather interesting and I enjoyed the idea of an imaginary world. I liked that each of the main characters had their own character flaws that were believable to the story. I would have given this book a higher rating but I felt it was held down by the overwhelming introduction of so many characters, most of which had little to no relevance to the plot. There were cool moments and plays on words, but overallcit felt like a bit of a grind to get through. It is still a good book and younger audiences may enjoy it more than I did.”
