“Os primeiros capítulos para mim foram um pouco chatos, mas de certa forma são necessários para descrever como é que a vida funciona naquela sociedade. Ao passar essa parte comecei realmente a entrar no livro.
O desenrolar da história chamou me a atenção para a importância das memórias que vivemos e partilhamos uns com os outros e para a importância das pequenas experiências provindas de pequenas escolhas que podemos fazer.
Apesar do outcome da história ser previsível o autor ainda nos dá uma ou outra surpresa pelo meio.
É também impressionante a atualidade que o livro pode tomar sendo que foi publicado em 1993
