Publisher Description

Can true love bring someone back from the dead?
Akshara is left devastated by her mother’s death and spends most of her time in solitude at the local park. One day, as she is sobbing uncontrollably, a young man named Harry approaches her. They become friends and Harry recounts to her a story about the miraculous reunion of a young woman and her dead boyfriend to help ease some of her pain. The story makes Akshara hopeful that she can perhaps see her dead mother again.
But she soon realizes that Harry isn’t what he seems to be. Even the characters in his story seem dubious, almost unreal. So what is he hiding? And why? Is there any truth to his story at all?
In this darkly suspenseful romance mystery, Akshara is left facing a truth that will make her doubt not just Harry but herself as well . . .

The Girl Who Knew Too Much Reviews

2.5
“I regret reading it so much and this was one such book which i was waiting to end (blame my habbit of reading whole book once i start). The story is absurd and doesn't make any sense if it was written by a 14-17 years old then i would had understood why it was written the way it was written but that was not the case so i dont get how can the author write something like this. It neither makes sense nor writing is good. The story starts with a 13 year old girl named Akshara crying for her mother who passed away in an accident. Then Harvinder aka Harry tries to console her by narrating a story which deals with his obsession with a girl and hatred for her boyfriend to such an extend that he tried to kill the guy whom he used to call as Ugly nails which make the book seems childish. Now i dont get the whole story under story thing and the way this guy was narrating it seem bogus , he litreally says the girl Sahiba dont look good is average and all and then says that was love at first sight like it was next level bogus writing. Later on we got to know that harry got his karma and his car caught a fire and he was burnt alive and the one talking to Akshara is a ghost. The author would had thought this will blow readers mind away thinking what a plot twist but honestly it makes me feel what nonsense. Then after many bogus explanation like how Harry stalk her and spent time with her more and never once visited his parents just said i feel bad seeing them like seriously here you're helping the girl who rejected you and cant even do one good thing for your parents. I also didn't find the writing interesting or sensible especially when a 13 year old was interrupting and taking interest in such weird story. Then Harry narrated further saying the girls bf Sidharth dies in similar accident the way he planned and plotted like what nonsense the author was litreally not in a sane mind while writing the book. After this started the stupid 1000 deed thing where that stupid girl believed if she do 1000 deeds then her dead and cremated boyfriend will come back like WTH!!! And the whole journey of thousand deed was senseless the ghost can now be seen by her and has a boon from Yamraj whom he called as Bro (the whole bro thing makes me feel maybe the book is written by author's children or niece and they've published it in their name) in which he can forseen the miseries of others and that stupid girl can help them in her stupid manner. I didn't like anyone in this book not one single character. Then after reading all this headache things we got to know maybe she got her bf back as her guardian angel cause God dictated the others that this girl is so devoted fulfill her wish anyhow ( honestly she was selfish and mean cause she never even once considered her family and litreally made them suffer while she do all the stupidity) At the end we got to know and i am not a cynic still i believe that Akshara had a major case of Schizophrenia where she not only hallucinated Harry and his story but wasted our time as a reader. I wrote all the major portion of the story so that no one waste their time and money on this and hopefully now penguin india at least focus on story more than the contacts while publishing books.”
