““The Ghostwriter” by Sarah Sheridan was a book by an author I hadn’t read before.
The author introduces us to the characters so that the reader really gets to know them before all hell breaks loose! You often ask yourself “Why? Why are you going there with complete strangers with no contact or help from your real family and friends? Are you that deluded?!”
I could recognise as soon as a certain character was “released” into the story that they were bad news, despite putting on a good act (to start with) of being changed for the better!
A slow burner but the last few chapters had me quickly turning the pages to discover the outcome and happiness of the good characters.
A good read.”
