The Foxhole Court (All for the Game, #1)
ByPublisher Description
Neil Josten is the newest addition to the Palmetto State University Exy team. He's short, he's fast, he's got a ton of potential—and he's the runaway son of the murderous crime lord known as The Butcher.
Signing a contract with the PSU Foxes is the last thing a guy like Neil should do. The team is high profile and he doesn't need sports crews broadcasting pictures of his face around the nation. His lies will hold up only so long under this kind of scrutiny and the truth will get him killed.
But Neil's not the only one with secrets on the team. One of Neil's new teammates is a friend from his old life, and Neil can't walk away from him a second time. Neil has survived the last eight years by running. Maybe he's finally found someone and something worth fighting for.

“um…wut
(literally me at every other page because idk what’s happening during the chapters they’re playing the sport BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE WHY THE HECK IS NEIL SO TRAUMATIZED?!???😭😭 This poor kid, man.) The foxes are such interesting characters and so heavily traumatized ✌️😭 BUT the characters are lowkey peak tho because the more traumatized the better 😊 also I genuinely don’t know who to ship Neil with atp because THERES TOO MANY MIXED SINGLES FROM EVERYONE AND NO ONE IS WHO THEY SEEM TO BE 😔 But, i have to admit I love Matt and Dan!! They’re so cute and such a power couple 🫶🏻🥹 This book was actually so captivating and the plot is so messy and insane😭😭 LIKE GENUINELY HOW DO I EVEN EXPLAIN THE PLOT OF THIS TO SOMEONE??😭 If I tried, it would prob go something like this: “ so this book is about this kid, Neil who’s the dad is a mafia boss and has been searching for him for the past 8 years and now he’s playing college sports on the same team of his old childhood friend whose dad is also some kind of mafia gang leader BUT NONE OF THAT HAS REALLY COME INTO PLAY YET SO THEYRE JUST PLAYING SPORTS THE WHOLE TIME AND THERES THIS WHOLE ISSUE WITHHIS CHILDHOOD FRIEND AND HIS BROTHER WHO LEGIT ABUSES HIM oh yeah and the other players on Neil’s team try to drug him BECAUSE THEY FOUND HIM SUSPICIOUS 😭😭😭?????” Yeah I genuinely can’t with this but I swear the book is actually kinda good :D”
