This short book discusses the Mayflower's landing and the first year of the Pilgrim's new life in America, culminating in the oddly uneventful feast we now commemorate. I like knowing more of what's going on. This book is still a light summary, but I feel much more informed and confident of these facts than I am about most short Thanksgiving books.”
